DOES ELECTROLYSIS HURT?

You can experience a slight sensation of heat &/or current as each hair is treated. Levels of tolerance vary from person to person. Generally the more relaxed you are, the less discomfort you will feel. The number of electrolysis treatments will depend on the type and amount of hair being removed, what types of hair removal treatments that have been employed in the past and your skin sensitivity. Electrolysis treatments work best when they are planned and scheduled as a program of regular sessions. Appointments may need to be scheduled once a week at first and eventually dwindle with reduction, to one a month or six weeks, until permanency is achieved.

IS ELECTROLYSIS HYGIENIC AND SAFE?

YES, ABOVE-ALL AESTHETICS AND ELECTROLYSIS uses pre and post treatment skin sanitizers, new gloves, exam paper and sterile disposable needles. A new disposable needle will be removed from its sterile package in front of you, at each electrolysis treatment.
